Rebel Alliance Y-wing

This is the rebel alliance Y-wing. This sturdy ship growing increasingly old is slowly being replaced by newer sleeker ship. It's slow... Very slow for a starfighter class ship. Though slow it's heavly armored and can old a huge payload of bombs and can be mouted with several different kinds of blaster cannons. These Inlucude traditional blasters, Heavy Laser turrents, and even a top mouted ion cannon.
It's powered by two large engine nacelles which help it carry heavy weapons and tons of torpedos and bombs. Though slow and old it can be outfitted to be one of the heaviest hitters in the rebel alliance.

It's sitting at 2320 polygons even and took little under 8 hours to model. I changed it up and down to get it right. I decided to not add the mouted laser on the top. Instead it will hold a heavy payload of bombs and use the two heavy laser cannons in the front as primary defense as it goes on bombing runs.
I have yet to make a prop version of the model, It will come next after I UVW unwrap this model. The prop model will have landing gear and compartments for the gear to rise into. It will be coming within the next few days.
